Privacy Policy
Effective Date: From June 15, 2025, or on the date the user accepts this policy (whichever occurs first).
Welcome to Xder’s Privacy and Cookies Policy (hereinafter, the “Policy”). All references in this policy to “Xder,” “we,” “us,” or “our” refer to Xder. This Policy aims to explain how Xder manages and provides you with control over your Personal Data. For Xder, “Personal Data” refers to any information that can identify you or is reasonably related to you, either directly or indirectly. When we refer to the “processing” of Personal Data, we mean how we collect, use, share, and store this information. This policy covers these activities across all our Platforms (“Platforms” or “Xder Platforms”).
This Policy applies to the following Xder Platforms:
The Xder applications and related features (the “Xder App” or “App”), including the website https://www.xder.com (“Xder Website”), mobile platforms, and any related services (collectively referred to as “Xder Services”).
Our commitment to privacy. As a global social and dating platform, Xder gives you the opportunity to share information about yourself with us, with Xder service providers that help us deliver our features, and with other Xder users. This includes precise details of your location, as well as information that, in certain jurisdictions, may be considered “sensitive” or “special category” data, such as ethnicity, sexuality, or personal information. Our commitment is to provide you with the greatest possible control over the Personal Data you share through the Xder platform.
We encourage you to read this Privacy and Cookies Policy carefully, along with our Terms and Conditions of Service. To support our ongoing commitment to transparency, in addition to regular updates to this Policy, when you use Xder Services, we may occasionally show you privacy pop-up notices. These notices are intended to help you understand the implications of your choices when using certain features or services within the platform. We are here to give you the control and information you need to make informed decisions about your privacy on Xder.
If you reside in another country, please note that privacy protection levels may vary compared to your country of residence.
Required Age: Xder Platforms are intended exclusively for individuals who have reached the age of majority, generally eighteen (18) years or older. If you become aware that a minor has provided Personal Data on Xder Platforms, we urge you to contact us via the in-app reporting tool or by submitting a request outside of your Xder account.
U.S. Residents (as permitted by applicable law): Please review your U.S. state privacy rights for detailed information about the specific rights you may have under applicable U.S. state privacy laws.
PERSONAL DATA WE COLLECT
When using Xder Platforms, we collect Personal Data about you, most of which you voluntarily provide. We may also obtain data about your interactions, usage, and experiences on our Platforms, as well as receive information from third parties.
Personal Data You Must Provide: When creating an account, you are required to provide a limited amount of Personal Data, such as an email address or phone number, along with your date of birth to verify that you are of legal age.
Personal Data You May Provide: You are free to decide what Personal Data you wish to include in your “Xder Profile.” This Profile Data, known as “Profile Information,” is shared with other Xder Service users, i.e., the “Xder Community.” This includes options such as sharing your location, photos, and videos. Please note that omitting certain data may affect the functionality of some Xder Services. You may also choose to provide Personal Data to send feedback, use customer support services, or participate in surveys. The types of data collected may vary depending on the survey.
Note on Sensitive Personal Data: In some jurisdictions and under certain regulations, Personal Data that may reveal a person’s racial or ethnic origin can be considered “sensitive” or “special category” Personal Data.
Notice about Location Information: We may collect your precise location (“Location”) to determine your distance from other users (“Distance Data”). Advanced users who misuse Xder Services or change location while you remain in the same place may use Distance Data to determine your location and possibly your identity. You can choose to hide your distance information, but Xder Services will still sort and display your profile based on relative distance to other users. Even if you choose to hide this information, others may still be able to infer your location. Additionally, you can revoke this permission and disable location services on your device. On iPhone: Settings > Privacy > Location Services > Xder. On Android: Settings > Location > Xder > Location Permissions.
Personal Data We Receive from Your Device When Using Xder Platforms: To maintain and improve Xder Platforms, we collect Personal Data such as user activity, hardware and software information, cookies, and other technologies such as web beacons, SDKs, local storage, and log files.
Personal Data We Receive from Third Parties: Xder collects limited information from third parties, including payment processors, app usage and website tracking providers, authentication services (such as Google and Facebook), machine learning services, and our consent management platform provider.
WHAT WE DO WITH YOUR PERSONAL DATA
The main reason we use your Personal Data is to enable Xder functionalities, including using core service features, providing technical support, and ensuring platform security. We only process your Personal Data when necessary, for specific purposes and legal grounds.
In general, we use your Personal Data to:
Provide you with Services related to your Xder account.
Respond to your inquiries and provide technical support.
Support the continuous improvement of our Platforms and ensure user security, including through machine learning and automated decision-making.
Protect our business interests.
Allow you to enjoy various Platform and Service features, including machine learning and automated decision-making.
Enable external advertising and marketing providers to use cookies and other technologies to display ads to users of free Services.
Conduct surveys and collect your feedback voluntarily about our Platforms.
Respond to legal requests from law enforcement, regulators, and other third parties, in compliance with “Legal Obligations” (as defined below).
HOW WE SHARE YOUR PERSONAL DATA
To facilitate meaningful connections, Xder allows you to share information about yourself with the Xder Community and third parties within our Platforms, as described in this Policy. In general, we share your Personal Data in the following ways:
Xder Community: Xder Services are designed as a safe space for you to discover, interact with, and connect with other members of the Xder Community. As part of the Services, Xder allows you to share your Profile Information, location, and other data with the Xder Community.
External Providers: Xder shares Personal Data with various external providers in order to deliver Xder functionalities, such as service providers, advertising and marketing providers who help create ad experiences, and other providers who support Xder Platforms (e.g., Apple for chat backups, Stripe for payment processing).
Business Transactions: If another company acquires, or plans to acquire, our company, business, or assets, that company will assume ownership of the Personal Data we have collected and accept the rights and obligations related to such Personal Data as described in this Policy.
Legal Obligations: We reserve the right to access, retain, and disclose Personal Data in situations involving: (i) enforcement of Xder’s Terms and Conditions; (ii) allegations related to content or conduct that may violate our policies or third-party rights; (iii) customer support requests; (iv) technical issues; (v) protection of the rights, property, or personal safety of Xder, its users, or the public; (vi) valid legal requests, including subpoenas, court orders, or legal proceedings; (vii) the establishment or exercise of our legal rights or defense against legal claims; (viii) tax and accounting implications; or (ix) any other reason required by law, collectively known as “Legal Obligations.”
HOW LONG WE RETAIN YOUR PERSONAL DATA
We retain your Personal Data for as long as strictly necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, as permitted by Legal Obligations, Xder’s Terms and Conditions of Service, or Xder’s Community Guidelines. We also retain a device identifier (IDFV and Android ID) and limited log data for up to two years after account deletion, to support internal reporting, analytics, and statistics. In cases where there is a legal or security requirement, Personal Data may be retained for longer periods. For example, Xder may retain certain account information, a device identifier, and limited log data for accounts that were banned or that violated Xder’s Terms or Guidelines. In some cases, Xder may also retain chat messages used to report misconduct resulting in an account ban.
Local and Server Storage: Xder is implementing server-side chat message storage to support Xder Services, including enhanced security features and optimized user experience across multiple platforms and devices. This transition implies longer data retention in line with our retention policy. However, chat messages, including images and recordings, may still be stored locally on users’ devices and may persist on recipients’ devices even after no longer being available on Xder’s servers.
YOUR CHOICES AND RIGHTS
You can make various choices and exercise your rights regarding your Personal Data stored on Xder:
Access and Portability: You can request details on how we handle your Personal Data and obtain a copy of it in a readable format. We may not be able to provide certain information if it would disclose third-party data or if prohibited by law.
Delete Account and Related Data: You may delete your account and associated information at any time. After deletion, your Personal Data will be erased from Xder systems in accordance with our Retention Policy. In some cases, we may retain certain information after your request, e.g., to comply with legal obligations, moderation reviews, dispute resolution, or other matters as outlined in this Policy.
Correct Profile Information: You may review and update your public Profile Information at any time in the “Edit Profile” section of Xder Services.
Behavioral Advertising on Third-Party Sites: You may opt out of sharing Personal Data with our advertising and marketing partners for behavioral advertising purposes. Opting out does not mean you will stop seeing ads in the free version of Xder Services, but it excludes you from interest-based ads.
Promotional Emails: You may choose whether to allow us to use your email address to send newsletters, surveys, offers, and promotional materials related to Xder or Xder properties, as well as third-party offers. You can unsubscribe by following the instructions in the emails. Even if you unsubscribe, we may still send you service-related communications, and our apps may continue sending you in-app messages.
Third-Party Tracking: You may request that your Personal Data not be collected and used by tools like Google Analytics on the Xder website by downloading a browser add-on provided for this purpose.
Limit Processing: In certain circumstances, you may limit how we process your Personal Data, for example through your device’s operating system controls (e.g., location, ad identifier settings).
Withdraw Consent: You may withdraw previously given consent at any time. Withdrawal applies only to future processing and is not retroactive. For more information, see our Legal Bases section.
Object to Processing: You have the right to object to our use of legitimate interests as a legal basis for processing your Personal Data.
Non-Discrimination: Exercising these rights will not result in any discrimination.
