This Legal Notice and Intellectual Property Policy (the “Notice”) governs the use of Xder’s creative and technological assets and forms part of the contractual framework of Xder together with the Terms and Conditions, the Privacy Policy, the Community Guidelines, and related policies (collectively, the “Xder Documents”). In case of conflict, the applicable regional annex prevails for the specific point.
1. Scope and purpose
Xder and all related elements (App, website, services, proprietary content and assets) are protected by national and international laws on intellectual property, copyright, trademarks, design, unfair competition, and trade secrets.
This Notice explains:
which assets belong to Xder (or its licensors),
how they may be used (and when not),
how to report infringements,
what actions Xder may take against misuse.
2. General ownership of Xder assets
Unless expressly stated otherwise, Xder (or its licensors) owns all rights to:
the App, Website and updates
software, source and object code, components, proprietary libraries, proprietary SDKs, APIs and technical documentation
visual design, UI/UX and interactive experience
trademarks, trade names, logos, icons, mascot, slogans and distinctive signs
corporate texts (guides, help center, policies, communications) and audiovisual materials
All rights reserved. Reproduction, distribution, public communication, transformation, extraction or commercial exploitation — in whole or in part — is prohibited without prior written authorization, except where mandatory law allows it.
3. Trademarks, logos, icon and mascot
The name “Xder”, the logo, the app icon, the official mascot, feature names and slogans are trademarks of Xder (registered or pending registration where applicable).
Without express written permission, it is prohibited to:
use Xder’s brand for third-party products/services
register confusing domains, apps or social accounts
modify, recolor or distort brand assets
suggest endorsement, partnership or affiliation that does not exist
Xder may act against confusing, dilutive, misleading or reputational misuse.
4. UI/UX design, look & feel and trade dress
The interface, screen structure, navigation flows, iconography, color combinations, typography, micro-interactions, animations and overall experience are protected under copyright, design and unfair competition laws.
This protection extends to the “trade dress” of the Services, including the unique combination of visual elements, typography and interactive experience associated exclusively with Xder.
Therefore, it is prohibited to:
substantially copy screens, flows or styles to create confusing products
replicate Xder’s trade dress for competitive or parasitic purposes
create interfaces presented as “Xder” or “official/compatible” without permission
5. Software, databases, algorithms and anonymized data
5.1 Software and trade secrets
Source code, architecture, security systems, anti-fraud mechanisms and technical documentation are protected as software works and/or trade secrets.
Reverse engineering, decompilation or extraction is prohibited except where strictly required by mandatory law and only to the legally permitted extent.
5.2 Algorithms and models
Recommendation/ranking algorithms, moderation systems and automated integrity systems are protected. Xder may provide transparency about general criteria where legally required, without revealing:
source code
specific weights
detailed internal rules
trade secrets or manipulation-sensitive data
5.3 Databases, metadata and statistics
Xder exclusively owns aggregated data, technical metadata and usage statistics, provided such data is anonymized and cannot identify individuals under the Privacy Policy.
5.4 Scraping and automated extraction prohibition
It is strictly prohibited to:
use bots, spiders or scrapers to extract data
bypass rate limits or security measures
build competing datasets or services
AI-specific prohibition:
Any Xder content (including user profiles and images) may not be used to train, develop or improve artificial intelligence, machine learning or computer vision systems without a specific commercial license granted by Xder.
6. Editorial content and corporate materials
Legal texts, policies, help center content and official communications are protected.
Permitted:
linking to official Xder pages
brief quotations with attribution where legally allowed
Not permitted:
copying or republishing as own material
cloning guides or policies for commercial use
7. Screenshots and interface recordings
To protect the platform and community:
Screenshots or recordings of the Xder interface may not be used for commercial purposes, reverse engineering, confusing imitation or unlawful reputational harm.
Manipulated or misleading publications intended to damage Xder may be challenged.
Exceptions: Nothing limits lawful criticism, review or legal reporting rights. Disputes may be submitted through the channels in Section 12.
8. Social media and campaigns
Official Xder content remains Xder property.
Allowed:
native sharing (share/retweet/repost/duet where enabled)
Not allowed:
downloading and reposting as own content
commercial reuse
removing watermarks
9. Authorized use and permissions
For press, partnerships, research or events, request permission specifying:
material
publication location
duration
purpose

10. Brand guidelines
Xder may provide brand usage guidelines covering:
minimum size and spacing
allowed colors
prohibited alterations
attribution requirements

11. User content and third-party rights
Users retain ownership of their content but must have rights to upload it.
If content includes third parties, consent may be required.
Marketing safeguard: Xder will not use identifiable user photos in external advertising without additional written consent, unless legally required.
12. Reporting infringements
Report violations involving:
copyright
trademark misuse
cloning or scraping
AI dataset extraction

13. Enforcement actions
Xder may:
request removal
block accounts/content
apply anti-scraping measures
preserve evidence per Privacy Policy
pursue legal remedies
14. No implied license
Accessing the Services does not grant rights over Xder assets beyond the limited service usage license described in the Terms.
15. Feedback and suggestions
If you send suggestions or ideas (“Feedback”), you agree:
Xder may use and implement them without compensation or attribution
Xder becomes the exclusive owner of related intellectual property rights, or receives a perpetual, worldwide, irrevocable free license where ownership cannot transfer
16. Changes to this Notice
Xder may update this Notice for legal or operational reasons. Material changes will be communicated reasonably (e.g., in-app or website notice).
