Tracking Technologies on Xder

Digital Cookies: “Digital cookies” are small pieces of information stored on your device or browser when you browse a website or interact with an online service. These digital footprints collect and store data that is sent to our servers or third-party servers. At Xder, we use these digital footprints and similar technologies for a variety of purposes, including essential functions, statistical data collection, personalized advertising, third-party integrations, and other legitimate objectives outlined below.

First-Party and Third-Party Digital Cookies: On Xder, our websites use both first-party and third-party digital footprints. First-party cookies are those we set directly on your device (e.g., to personalize our site based on your browser language preferences and to better understand how you use Xder Properties). Our partners and service providers place third-party cookies on your device (e.g., to collect performance data or enable logins through third-party social media platforms).

Session and Persistent Digital Cookies: All digital footprints have an expiration date. Session cookies and persistent cookies exist. We generally use session cookies for purposes like security and analyzing your use of the Properties, ensuring they remain effective and efficient. Persistent cookies are typically used to simplify service use and for performance evaluation.

SDK/API: Software Development Kits (SDKs) are pieces of code embedded in apps that function similarly to cookies and web beacons. Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) are links that allow our software to interact with other software. At Xder, we use SDKs and APIs to deliver ads, measure how users navigate our Properties, and support error reporting. We have implemented controls, including checklists, audits, and safeguards, to ensure SDKs and APIs are deployed securely.

Artificial Intelligence: At Xder, your safety is paramount. We use automated decision-making as part of our platform moderation, including identifying and removing unauthorized users and overseeing platform security. The moderation team has access to all information you share within the services, which may result in the removal of content you post or share. If your account is blocked and you believe it is an error, you can learn more about the reasons and file an appeal through the contact page.

Other Tracking Technologies Beyond Cookies: Besides cookies, Xder also uses web beacons (also known as pixel tags or clear gifs) and tracking URLs. These technologies serve similar purposes and help us understand the source of traffic to our websites.

Third-Party Tracking: Our advertisers and some service providers use their own cookies and tracking technologies, such as SDKs. These may collect information about you while you use Xder Properties.

HOW DOES XDER USE COOKIES?

As detailed below, Xder uses cookies and other tracking technologies for several purposes:

  • Statistical Data Collection: We collect statistical information about how users interact with Xder Properties.

  • Essential Functions: We use these technologies for essential functions, such as verifying the authenticity of web traffic and preventing unauthorized access to Properties. We also block banned accounts.

  • Integration with Third-Party Social Media Platforms: We provide the option to integrate Xder with third-party social media platforms.

  • Behavior Recognition Over Time: We identify patterns of behavior and activity across websites and platforms.

  • Interest-Based Advertising: We personalize advertising based on your interests and deliver ads on other websites.

We may link information obtained through cookies to other data we have about you, consistent with this Policy. Similarly, third parties using cookies on Xder Properties may combine cookie-collected data with other information they hold about you. When interacting with or sharing Personal Data on a third-party website, we recommend reviewing their privacy policy.

HOW CAN YOU CONTROL COOKIES?

At Xder, we provide several options for managing cookies and tracking technologies when you use our Properties.

  • Xder Consent Preferences Center: You can adjust sharing controls at any time through the Consent Preferences Center within our services. This includes opting out of behavior-based advertising and other non-essential tracking technologies. These controls are available both in the Xder Services and on our websites. Preferences for each platform are maintained separately, except for the Xder Services.

  • General Opt-Out Option: Most browsers automatically accept cookies. However, you can configure your browser to use Xder Properties without enabling cookies. You can also delete cookies manually or schedule your browser to clear them automatically at certain times.

For instructions on managing cookies in the most common browsers, visit the following links: Apple Safari, Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, Brave, DuckDuckGo.

Additionally, you can reset your device identifiers in your mobile device settings. The process to manage device identifiers, such as IDFA and GAID, varies by device. Please refer to your device’s help section or settings menu for specific steps.
