How to Subscribe to Xder PLUS or Xder FULL

Subscribing to a premium plan in Xder is simple and quick. You just need an active account and access to the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).

iOS (iPhone or iPad):

  1. Log into your Xder account.

  2. On the bottom menu, tap the second button and select Xder PLUS / Xder FULL.

  3. Choose your desired plan (Xder PLUS or Xder FULL).

  4. Select the subscription duration (monthly, quarterly, yearly, depending on availability).

  5. Tap Continue.

  6. You’ll be redirected to the App Store to confirm your purchase.

  7. Use Face ID, Touch ID, or your Apple ID password to complete payment.
    ✅ Done! Your subscription will be active immediately.

Android (Google Play Store):

  1. Log into your Xder account.

  2. On the bottom menu, tap the second button and select Xder PLUS / Xder FULL.

  3. Choose your desired plan (Xder PLUS or Xder FULL).

  4. Select the subscription duration (monthly, quarterly, yearly, depending on availability).

  5. Tap Continue.

  6. You’ll be redirected to the Google Play Store to confirm your purchase.

  7. Use your fingerprint, Google Play PIN, or a registered payment method (card, PayPal, balance, etc.).
    ✅ Done! Your subscription will be active immediately.


Important Notes:

  • Your subscription will auto-renew at the end of each period unless you cancel it manually in the App Store or Google Play Store.

  • Ensure you have a valid payment method registered in your app store to avoid errors.

  • Once the purchase is complete, you will receive a confirmation email from Apple or Google.

  • If your subscription does not appear immediately, force close the Xder app and reopen it to refresh your status.

You can manage your Xder PLUS or Xder FULL subscription directly from the Settings section in your account. From here, you can:

  • See which plan you have active (PLUS or FULL).

  • Check your subscription renewal date.

  • Switch plans (e.g., upgrade from PLUS to FULL).

How to manage your subscription:

  1. Open the Xder app on your device.

  2. Tap your profile picture in the top-left corner.

  3. Select Settings.

  4. Go to Settings > Account > Subscription.

From this section, you can:

  • Review the current status of your plan.

  • Select a new plan if you want to change.

  • Access the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android) to modify, cancel, or renew your subscription.

Important Notes:

  • All payment management (card updates, billing, refunds) is handled directly by Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

  • Switching plans will not interrupt your current subscription: the new plan will begin when your current billing period ends.

  • If you encounter issues, ensure you’re signed in with the same Apple ID or Google Play account used to purchase the subscription.

If you already have an active subscription to Xder PLUS or Xder FULL but don’t see it reflected in your account, you may need to restore your purchase.

This usually happens when changing devices, reinstalling the app, or signing in with a new account.

iOS (iPhone or iPad):

  1. Open the Xder app.

  2. Tap your profile picture in the top-left corner.

  3. Go to Settings > Account > Subscription.

  4. Tap Restore Purchase.

  5. Wait for the confirmation message.

  6. Restart the app if needed to see your subscription active.

Android (Google Play Store):
Subscriptions restore automatically as long as you use the same Google Play account as the purchase.

If your subscription doesn’t appear:

  • Ensure you’re signed in with the same Google account.

  • Force close the Xder app and reopen it.

  • If the issue persists, uninstall and reinstall the app with the same account.

Important Notes:

  • Subscriptions can only be used with the App Store or Google Play account where they were originally purchased.

  • Subscriptions cannot be transferred between different accounts or profiles.

  • If you still don’t see your subscription after restoring, contact our support team.

If you decide to cancel your subscription to Xder PLUS or Xder FULL, you will continue enjoying premium benefits until the end of your current billing period.

⚠️ Remember: deleting your profile or uninstalling the Xder app does not automatically cancel your subscription. You must cancel directly through the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).

How to cancel on iOS (iPhone or iPad):

  1. Open the App Store.

  2. Tap your profile icon (top-right).

  3. Select Subscriptions.

  4. Find and select Xder.

  5. Tap Cancel Subscription.

  6. Confirm cancellation.

How to cancel on Android (Google Play Store):

  1. Open the Google Play Store.

  2. Tap your profile icon (top-right).

  3. Select Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions.

  4. Find and select Xder.

  5. Tap Cancel Subscription.

  6. Confirm cancellation.

Refund Policy:

  • According to our Terms of Service, all purchases within Xder (including subscriptions) are final and non-refundable.

  • Even after canceling, you will keep access to premium features until the already-paid period ends.

  • If you purchased on iOS, refund requests must be handled directly with Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

  • If you purchased on Android, refunds may be requested through Google Play in certain cases (e.g., duplicate charges or technical issues).

Creating your account is quick and easy. Just download the app and follow these steps:

Step 1: Download the app

  • iOS: from the App Store

  • Android: from Google Play

Step 2: Start registration

  • Open the app and tap Create account.

  • Accept the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

  • Choose how you want to sign up:

    • Email + password

    • Google account

    • Facebook account

Step 3: Complete your basic profile

  • Choose your unique @username.

  • Add profile photos and videos.

  • Fill in your basic info: age, gender, interests, social media, short bio.

Step 4: Set up your experience

  • Adjust your search preferences (friendship, dating, travel, etc.).

  • Add tags (interests, orientation, location, etc.) for easier discovery.

Step 5: Facial verification (optional but recommended)

  • Confirms authenticity and builds trust with other users.

  • Grants access to filters for verified profiles.

Step 6: Start connecting!

  • Browse profiles on the home screen.

  • Join or create groups.

  • Send messages, photos, videos, and play interactive games.

🔐 Note: Inactive accounts may be automatically deleted for security and privacy, but you can always create a new one with the same info.

To ensure the best experience on Xder, your device must meet the minimum operating system requirements and keep the app updated to the latest version available.

Minimum operating system requirements

  • iOS (iPhone or iPad): iOS 15 or higher required.

  • Android: Android 8.0 or higher required.

If your device runs an earlier version, you may not be able to install Xder, or some features may not work properly.

Keep your app always updated

Xder is constantly updated to improve performance, add new features, and strengthen security. To enjoy all benefits:

  • On iOS:

    1. Open the Settings app on your device.

    2. Go to General > Software Update.

    3. Download and install the latest version available.

  • On Android:

    1. Open the Settings app.

    2. Scroll to System > System Update (on some models, it may appear as About phone).

    3. Download and install the latest update available.

Important note
If your device is no longer supported, your Xder account will not be deleted. You can still access it from any device that meets the minimum requirements.

We recommend enabling automatic updates in the App Store or Google Play Store so you don’t miss any improvements.

In Xder, you can choose the language in which you want to use the app, independently of your device’s language. Currently, Xder is available in:

  • Spanish

  • English

  • French

We are working to add more languages to Xder.

When you install Xder for the first time, you can choose the language you want to use.

Change language from the app settings
If you already have an account and want to change the language:

  1. Open the Xder app.

  2. Tap your profile picture in the top left corner.

  3. Select Settings.

  4. Go to the Language option.

  5. Choose your preferred language.

The app will automatically update to the selected language.

Important notes

  • Xder’s language is independent of your device’s language.

  • You can change languages as many times as you want from the settings.

  • More languages will be added soon for an even more global experience.

Your profile is your introduction on Xder. A complete profile increases your chances of connecting and showing who you are authentically.

On Xder, you can edit and update your profile at any time so it always reflects your personality, interests, and what you’re looking for.

How to access profile editing

  1. Open the Xder app.

  2. Tap your profile picture in the top left corner.

  3. Select Edit Profile.

Available options to edit

  • Profile photos and videos

    • Add your main photo or video.

    • Upload more photos or videos from your gallery.

    • Reorder or delete photos you no longer want to display.

  • Personal information

    • Age

    • City or country

    • Orientation

    • Languages

    • Other optional details you can choose to show or keep private.

  • Username (@username)
    Choose a unique name to identify yourself, like on social media.
    This will be your identifier on Xder and will help others find you easily.

  • “About Me” description
    Write a short text to introduce yourself.
    You can use letters, emojis, and symbols (up to a character limit).

  • Interests and hobbies
    Select tags that reflect what you’re passionate about (e.g., sports, art, travel, music).
    These tags help others find you through filters and searches.

  • Social media and Instagram feed
    Link your social networks if you want to share more about yourself.
    You can connect your Instagram account to display your feed directly on your Xder profile.

Tips to make your profile stand out

  • Use a clear and authentic photo as your main one: it’s the first thing others will see.

  • Keep your personal information up to date so your connections are more relevant.

  • Add several interests to increase your chances of matches.

  • Link your Instagram if you want to show more aspects of your daily life.

🔐 Security note: All uploaded photos and videos are reviewed to comply with the Community Guidelines. If you find inappropriate content in other profiles, you can report or block the user.

Profile and Account

In Xder’s Settings menu, you can customize your experience, manage your account, and configure security, privacy, and notification options.

To access:

  1. Open the Xder app.

  2. Tap your profile picture in the top left corner.

  3. Select Settings.

  • Subscription: check and manage your current plan (Xder PLUS or Xder FULL).

  • Change password: update your access key anytime.

  • Delete account: permanently remove your profile.

  • Notification settings: choose which alerts you want to receive from Xder.

  • “Do Not Disturb” mode: pause notifications and enjoy more peace of mind.

🚪 Log Out
At the bottom of the menu, you’ll find the option to log out securely from your account.

Your profile picture is your first introduction on Xder. You can use both photos and short videos to present yourself in the most authentic and attractive way.

This section explains how to add, edit, and manage your profile photos and videos, as well as the moderation rules that apply.

📸 How to add profile photos or videos

  1. Go to your profile.

  2. Select Edit Profile.

  3. Tap the “+” in the available slots.

  4. Choose whether to:

    • Take a new photo or record a video with your camera.

    • Select a photo or video from your gallery.

  5. Save changes.

You can upload several photos and videos, and decide which one will be your main image.

🔄 How to reorder your photos

  1. Go to Edit Profile.

  2. Hold down the photo or video you want to move.

  3. Drag it to the desired position.

  4. Release and save.

How to delete photos or videos

  1. Open Edit Profile.

  2. Tap the “X” on the photo/video you want to remove.

  3. Confirm the action.

  • Tap a profile to open it.

  • If it has multiple photos or videos, swipe left or right to see all the content.

🛡️ Photo and video moderation and safety
To ensure a safe and inclusive space, all photos and videos must comply with Xder’s Community Guidelines.

  • Explicit nudity, violence, or content that violates our policies is not allowed.

  • The Xder team combines automatic and manual review to ensure every photo/video complies.

  • Approval time may vary.

If you find a photo that violates the rules, you can easily report it from the profile.

At Xder, we understand that at some point you may want to stop using the app. Here’s how to do it step by step:

🗑️ Delete your account

  1. Open the app and tap your profile picture in the top left corner.

  2. Go to Settings ⚙️.

  3. In the Account section, select Delete Account.

  4. The system will ask you to confirm the action.

  5. Once confirmed, your profile, chats, photos, videos, and connections will be permanently deleted.

⚠️ Important:

  • This action cannot be undone.

  • If you want to use Xder again, you will need to create a new account from scratch.

  • Deleting your Xder account does not automatically cancel your premium subscription (if you have one). To cancel, you must manage it directly through the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).

📱 Delete only the app
If you just want to remove Xder from your device without deleting your account:

  • iOS: Press and hold the Xder icon, select Delete App and confirm.

  • Android: Press and hold the Xder icon and select Uninstall.

This only removes the app, but your account will remain active and you can log back in after reinstalling it.

In Xder, you can customize how and when you receive notifications to make your experience comfortable and tailored to you.

⚙️ How to access notification settings

  1. Open the app and tap your profile picture (top left).

  2. Go to Settings ⚙️.

  3. Enter the Notifications section.

  • Notification settings: Choose which notifications you want to receive (messages, interactions, requests, etc.).

  • Activate “Do Not Disturb” mode: Silence all Xder notifications for a while.

📱 Manage notifications from your device
Besides the in-app settings, you can also control notifications directly from your phone:

  • iOS: Settings > Notifications > Xder → Enable/disable sounds, badges, banners, etc.

  • Android: Settings > Apps > Xder > Notifications → Enable/disable push alerts, sounds, or vibrations.

💡 Tips

  • When “Do Not Disturb” mode is enabled, you won’t receive alerts until you turn it off.

  • Make sure notifications are also enabled on your device settings to avoid missing important messages.

If you want to log out of your Xder account, you can easily do it from the Settings section.

  1. Open the app and tap your profile picture (top left corner).

  2. Go to Settings ⚙️.

  3. Scroll down to the bottom of the menu.

  4. Tap Log out.

  5. Confirm your choice.

📌 Keep in mind

  • Logging out will save your data, and you can log back in anytime using your credentials.

  • If you have an active subscription, logging out does not cancel it. Your plan will remain active until you manage it via the App Store or Google Play.

  • If you want to permanently delete your account, use the Delete Account option in the same Settings menu.

Is your Xder app crashing, freezing, or not loading profiles correctly? 😓
Don’t worry—follow these steps to fix it:

🔄 First things we recommend:

  • Make sure you have the latest version of Xder installed from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).

  • Force close Xder and reopen it (see instructions below for iOS and Android).

  • Restart your device to refresh memory.

  • If you’re on Android, clear the app cache from your phone settings.

  • Check your internet connection (try switching between Wi-Fi and mobile data).

📱 How to force close Xder

iOS (iPhone / iPad)

  • Swipe up from the bottom of the screen (or double-tap the Home button on older models).

  • You’ll see all recently opened apps.

  • Find Xder.

  • Swipe up on the Xder window to close it.

  • Reopen Xder from your home screen.

Android

  • Go to your device Settings.

  • Open Apps > Xder.

  • Tap Force Stop.

  • Confirm and reopen Xder from your main menu.

🛠️ If the issue continues

  • Reinstall the app: delete Xder from your device and download it again from your app store.

  • Check storage: make sure you have enough free space on your device for the app to run properly.

  • Disable background apps that may affect performance.

  • Face ID models (iPhone X or later): Swipe up from the bottom of the screen and pause in the center to open the recent apps view.

  • Home button models: Double-tap the Home button to see recently opened apps.

  • Find the Xder window.

  • Swipe up on the Xder card to close it.

  • Reopen Xder from your home screen.

🤖 On Android

  • Open your device Settings.

  • Go to Apps (may appear as App Manager or Applications).

  • Select Xder from the list.

  • Tap Force Stop and confirm.

  • Go back to your home screen and open Xder again.

💡 Extra tip
On some Android models, you can also:

  • Open the recent apps menu by swiping up from the bottom or pressing the square button.

  • Find the Xder window and swipe it up or sideways to close it.

If the issue persists after forcing the app to close, please contact support through the Xder contact form and attach screenshots or videos of the error.

If you’ve found a bug in the Xder app (malfunctions, unexpected crashes, display errors, or any unusual behavior), you can easily report it to our team so we can review and fix it.

Message Issues

Did you notice that a profile you interacted with no longer appears on Xder? Or that some messages disappeared from your inbox? 📭
This can happen for several reasons, all related to account management and privacy on the platform.

Possible reasons

  • The user deleted their account
    When someone removes their Xder profile, all their information and sent messages disappear from the app.

  • The user was blocked
    If you block someone, you will no longer see their profile or messages.
    If someone blocks you, you also won’t find them in searches or keep the conversation.

  • Suspension or deletion for violating rules
    Profiles that break the Community Guidelines (spam, impersonation, prohibited content, etc.) are removed from the app.
    This also includes the disappearance of the messages they sent to others.

  • Ephemeral or multimedia messages
    If the other user shared ephemeral photos or videos, they are automatically deleted once the viewing time expires.

Important
For privacy reasons, Xder cannot confirm whether a profile was deleted, suspended, or blocked by another person.
This is normal and part of our security measures to protect all users.

Tip
If a profile disappeared and you believe it may be a technical error, you can:

  • Make sure you are using the latest version of Xder.

  • Force close the app and log in again.

  • If the issue persists, report it to support from the Contact section on the website, attaching screenshots if available.

Sometimes, when using the Xder app, error messages may appear related to connection, location, or login. Most of them can be solved quickly by following a few simple steps.

🔎 Most common errors and how to fix them

  • Location error
    “To continue, enable device location”

    • Go to Settings > Location on your device.

    • Enable location and select High accuracy (or “Use GPS, Wi-Fi, and mobile networks” on Android).

    • Force close Xder and reopen it.

  • “Maximum number of accounts”

    • This appears if you try to register more accounts than allowed with the same email or phone number.

    • ✅ Solution: log into an existing account or create a profile with different login details.

  • “No Internet connection, cannot update”

    • Check that Wi-Fi or mobile data is active.

    • Test other apps to confirm if the issue is only with Xder.

    • If you have internet, try force closing and reopening the app.

  • “Unable to update”

    • May be caused by:

      • VPN use.

      • Network restrictions in your region.

      • Temporary connection issues.

    • ✅ Solution: disable VPN (if in use), switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data, or reinstall the app.

  • “Please try again later”

    • Sometimes servers limit requests during high traffic.

Vibes are a quick, fun, and easy way to show interest in another user without having to start a conversation right away.

What are vibes?

When you visit another user’s profile, you can send them a vibe, which works like an emoji reaction (for example: ❤️ heart, 🔥 fire, 👋 wave, etc.).

It’s a way to break the ice and let them know their profile caught your attention.

What happens when I send a vibe?

  • The user will receive a notification in their Vibes inbox inside the Chats section.

  • If that person sends a vibe back to you, it becomes a mutual connection, making it easier to start a conversation.

Think of vibes as a signal of shared interest: if they reply, the chat is more likely to flow naturally.

Where can I see the vibes I’ve received?

  • Go to the Chats tab.

  • You’ll find a specific section called Vibes, where you can see all the reactions other users have sent you.

  • From there, you can choose to reply with another vibe or start a chat.

Benefits of using vibes

  • Break the ice with no pressure: if you don’t know what to say, a vibe is enough to show interest.

  • Increase your chances to connect: when you get a mutual vibe, it’s a clear sign of attraction or compatibility.

Private albums are a secure and personalized way to organize and share your photos and videos on Xder. They give you full control over your content and allow you to decide exactly who can access it.

Where can I find my albums?

  • On the Chats screen, from the bottom menu, you’ll see the Albums tab.

  • From there, you can create, manage, and view all your private albums, as well as access albums shared with you by other users.

Create and manage your own albums

You can:

  • Create new albums and assign them names.

  • Add or remove photos and videos anytime.

  • Edit or rearrange your content as you like.

  • Manage privacy permissions (decide which users can access each album).

Share or unshare albums

You have two options:

  • From the Albums section: select an album and choose the users you want to share it with or remove their access.

  • Directly from a chat: share a full album or revoke access at any time.

This gives you flexibility and control: share what you want, with whom you want, whenever you want.

Send albums or files in a chat

When chatting with someone, under the Send Media option, you can:

  • Send a full private album.

  • Or share only individual photos and videos without an album.

View albums shared with you

In the Albums section, you can:

  • Access all the albums other users have shared with you.

  • See updates in those albums (new photos or videos added) as long as you still have access.

Advantages of private albums in Xder

  • Total privacy: you decide who sees what.

  • Organization: keep your photos and videos sorted in different albums.

  • Flexibility: share full albums or single files from a chat.

  • Real-time updates: if someone updates an album shared with you, you’ll see the changes instantly.

In Xder, you can add your social media accounts to your profile to show more about yourself and make it easier for others to get to know you. You can also unlink them anytime if you prefer to keep your profile more private.

  • Go to Edit Profile.

  • At the bottom of the section, you’ll find the option to manage your social media and usernames.

Link social media

  • Enter your username for each social platform in the corresponding field.

  • Once saved, it will appear on your profile for other users to see.

Unlink social media

  • To remove a social account, simply delete your username from the field and save the changes.

  • It will no longer be displayed on your profile.

Link / Unlink your Instagram feed

  • From Edit Profile, you can connect your Instagram account and display your feed directly on your Xder profile.

  • If you want to remove it, you’ll see a Unlink button. Tap it, and your feed will instantly disappear from your profile.

Security recommendations

  • Only share the social media accounts you feel comfortable with.

  • Remember, you can edit or remove these connections anytime.

  • For greater privacy, we recommend limiting which accounts you link to your profile.

Interests in Xder work through tags that help you show what you like while making it easier for others to find you. The more interests you add, the more visible your profile will be in the community.

📍 Where to add interests?
You can add or edit your interests at two points:

  • During registration → When creating your account, you’ll be asked to choose some initial interests.

  • At any time from your profile

    • Tap your profile picture (top left).

    • Go to Edit Profile.

    • Open the Tags section.

How to add or remove tags

  • Use the search bar in the Tags section to explore options.

  • You can:

    • Search for specific tags to add.

    • Explore suggested tags recommended by the app.

    • See popular tags used by many users.

    • Discover tags by country or city to connect with people from a specific place.

    • Browse Trending tags.

    • Or simply create your own custom tags.

  • To remove an interest, just uncheck or delete it from your tag list.

Tips

  • The more tags you add, the better: your profile becomes more visible, and people with similar interests will find you more easily.

  • Mix general tags (e.g. #movies) with specific ones (e.g. #indiefilms, #marvel).

  • Update your tags from time to time to reflect your current hobbies or new activities.

In Xder, you can share ephemeral photos and videos in chats — a feature designed to send content that disappears after a set time, giving you more privacy control.

📍 How to send ephemeral photos or videos?

  1. Open the chat with the user you want to send content to.

  2. Tap the multimedia send button.

  3. Choose whether to send a photo or video.

  4. Before sending, select the viewing duration:

    • Unlimited → the file stays in the chat with no expiration.

    • Keep in chat → the file remains until someone deletes it.

    • Time-limited → choose between options (e.g. 5s, 30s, 1 min). After that, it disappears automatically.

Privacy and security

  • Ephemeral content is designed to be temporary and secure, giving you control over how long it stays visible.

  • Xder monitors for misuse of this feature, and you can block or report any suspicious behavior.

Groups in Xder are spaces designed to connect with more people at once, share interests, and organize activities or events. From a global online group to a local meetup in your city, Xder gives you all the tools to join and build active communities.

📍 Where to find groups?
Groups are available in the last tab of the bottom menu of the app.
There you’ll find:

  • Your active groups → the public and private ones you’re already part of.

  • Group Explorer → where you can discover new communities to join.

🔎 Group search options
You can easily find groups using filters and categories:

  • Recent searches → quickly access groups you’ve already looked for.

  • Popular tags → discover the most active groups at the moment.

  • Country and city tags → perfect for finding local groups in your area or a specific location.

  • New tags → explore groups recently created by other users.

  • Trending tags → find groups on hot topics inside Xder.

  • Free search by tags → type a keyword of your choice (e.g. #movies, #soccer, #gamer).

🛠️ Creating a group in Xder
Besides joining existing groups, you can also create your own:

  • Local groups → focused on a specific city or area. Great for organizing meetups (e.g. running, dinners, student groups, meeting new people nearby).

  • Online groups → open to everyone, ideal for global interests (e.g. #anime, #gaming, #travel).

When creating a group you can:

  • Add a name and description.

  • Select main tags so others can find it easily.

  • Pin a quick event/meetup tag to highlight specific activities.

  • (In local groups) mark a location so members can see where an event will take place.

💬 Moderation
Admins can manage participants, add users, assign moderators or new admins, or remove members who break the rules.

🔒 Types of groups

  • Public → anyone can find and join freely.

  • Private → require an invitation or admin approval.

Facial verification is a security measure that helps confirm that each account belongs to a real person and not a fake profile. This process builds trust within the community and improves the experience for all users.

📍 Where to request facial verification?

  • Open the Xder app and tap your profile picture in the top left.

  • Go to Settings ⚙️.

  • Navigate to Account > Facial Verification.

  • From there, you can start the verification process.

📸 How the process works

  • Real-time capture → you’ll need to take a photo directly from the app (images from the gallery are not accepted).

  • Profile comparison → our human team will manually review the photo and check if it matches the images on your profile.

  • Security check → besides confirming your identity, we verify the photo quality (clear face, no obstructions, no alterations).

Verification time
The process may take some time depending on the volume of requests.
Once complete, you’ll receive an email with the result (approved or rejected).
Tip: check your Spam/Junk folder as the notification may arrive there.

Benefits of being verified

  • You’ll get a verification badge on your profile to boost trust.

  • Greater visibility inside the app.

  • You contribute to a safer and more authentic community.

If your verification is not approved
It may be because the photo wasn’t clear or didn’t match your profile images.
In that case, you’ll be able to try again following the instructions in the email.

Facial verification is optional but highly recommended for a safer and more authentic Xder experience.

In Xder, each user profile and each group can have a unique username (@username), similar to other social networks. This makes identification, personalization, and direct search much easier.

👤 Usernames for profiles

  • When creating your account, you’ll choose your own @username.

  • This name is unique: no one else can have the same one.

  • It will be displayed on your profile, in chats, and will be the fastest way for others to find you.

  • You can change it later from Edit Profile (profile picture > Edit profile).

👥 Usernames for groups

  • When creating a group, you’ll also need to assign it a unique username (@groupname).

  • This acts as an identifier so anyone can easily search and join the group.

  • Groups work as thematic communities, simple to share and find.

🔍 Search by username

  • From the user search, type the @username directly to find a specific profile.

  • From the group search, type the @groupname to locate communities.

In short: your @username in Xder is your personal signature within the community, just like in other popular social platforms.

In Xder, you can showcase your personality and style through photos and videos on your profile. To ensure a smooth and balanced experience for everyone, there are certain limits and organization options.

🔢 Content limit

  • You can upload up to 9 files total (photos and videos combined).

  • Videos can be a maximum of 15 seconds each.

  • You can combine them however you like (e.g., 6 photos + 3 videos, 9 photos, 8 photos + 1 video, etc.).

⚙️ Managing your photos and videos
You can manage them from Edit Profile (profile picture top left > Edit Profile) or during the registration process.

Main management features:

  • Rearrange photos and videos → Hold and drag any file to change its order in your gallery.

  • Choose main photo or video → Select which file you want as your main image. This will be the one shown in the feed or Explore grid before someone enters your profile.

  • Delete files → Remove photos or videos at any time and upload new ones.

  • Use your main photo or video to create the best first impression.

  • Combine photos and videos to show different sides of you (e.g., hobbies, style, travels).

  • Keep your gallery updated: a well-maintained profile looks more attractive and trustworthy.

🔎 Where to search
From the Home screen, tap the search button to explore internationally.

You’ll find several options:

  • Recommended countries and cities → Suggested destinations where the Xder community is most active, updated regularly based on trends.

  • Manual search by country or city → If your location isn’t suggested, type it directly into the search bar (e.g., Mexico, Madrid, Tokyo).

  • Geographic tags → Filter with tags linked to countries, cities, or regions (e.g., #USA, #Barcelona, #Argentina).

🌐 How results are shown

  • Results appear in a grid with active users in the selected area.

  • You can explore their profiles just like in your local feed.

  • Interact by sending vibes or initial messages.

✈️ Why use this feature?

  • Meet people before traveling → Connect with locals in your destination ahead of time.

  • International friendships → Expand your circles and learn about different cultures.

  • Online connections → Even without traveling, you can interact with users from anywhere in the world.

When you mark someone as a favorite:

  • Their profile is saved in your private Favorites list.

  • You’ll have direct access to their profile and chats without searching again in the feed.

  • It’s a practical way to organize the people you want to interact with most often.

💡 How to add a user to Favorites
You can do it in two ways:

  • From the feed or search: Tap the heart icon ❤️ on the user’s profile.

  • From the user’s profile: Open their profile and select the Favorite button (heart).

📂 Where to see your Favorites

  • In the first tab of the bottom menu, you’ll find the Favorites section.

  • There, you’ll see all users you’ve marked as favorites, with direct access to their profiles and chats.

Benefits of using Favorites

  • Quick access → no need to search again, they’re always at the top.

  • Personal organization → keep track of people you’re most interested in.

  • More interaction → easily continue conversations and check updates from these users.

In Xder, games inside chats are a fun and dynamic way to break the ice and get to know the other person better. They make conversations flow naturally through interactive questions and activities.

📍 Where to find games

  • Games are available only in one-on-one chats (not in groups).

To access:

  1. Go to the second tab (Chats) in the bottom menu.

  2. Open a chat with the person you want to play with.

  3. Tap the games icon 🎮 inside the chat.

🕹️ How to start a game

  • Choose a game → you’ll see a list of available games.

  • Send invitation → tap on a game, and your contact will get an invitation.

  • Accept & play → once they accept, the game starts automatically within the chat.

Gameplay

  • A random question related to the chosen game will appear in the chat.

  • Both users answer directly in the conversation.

  • Either user can tap “Next question” to move forward.

  • The game can be ended anytime—no need to complete it.
