We begin collecting Personal Information as soon as you start interacting with Xder Properties—whether through the website, downloading the app, liking us on social media, or contacting us directly. We may obtain Personal Information directly from you, from your device, or from third parties. Some of this information is essential to provide and operate our Properties, while in other cases, providing Personal Information is optional.

PERSONAL INFORMATION YOU MUST PROVIDE

We start collecting Personal Data as soon as you interact with Xder Properties, whether via the website, downloading our app, liking us on social media, or contacting us directly. Personal Data may be obtained directly from you, from your device, or from third parties. Certain Personal Information is required to provide and operate our Properties, although in some cases, providing information is optional.

PERSONAL INFORMATION YOU MAY CHOOSE TO PROVIDE

• Profile Information on Xder: When creating an account, you may choose to provide Personal Information to set up your profile. This may include photos, a display name, details in the “About Me” section, custom tags for the “My Tags” section, personal stats (such as age, height, weight, body type, position, ethnicity, marital status, preferences), meeting expectations, identity information (gender), links to social media (such as Instagram, Spotify, Twitter, Facebook), and any other information you decide to share on your profile (collectively, “Profile Information”).
  Since Xder is a social networking platform that allows users to connect and share information, please note that your profile and Profile Information are public, meaning other users can see this data. Be cautious when deciding what to include. You may review and update this information at any time under the “Edit Profile” section of Xder.
• Note on Sensitive Personal Information: In some jurisdictions and under certain regulations, information such as racial or ethnic origin or sexual life/sexual orientation may be considered “Sensitive Personal Information.” It is your choice whether to include such data in your profile. If you do, this information may be visible to other Xder users and the Xder Community, depending on tags selected, your “About Me” section, or private messages you send. You can review, edit, or delete this data at any time via “Edit Profile.” Xder relies on your consent to collect and process sensitive information if you include it in your profile.
• Feedback/Support Information: If you provide feedback or contact Xder’s customer support, we may collect your name, email address, possibly other data (like IP address), along with the message content. We may also collect technical diagnostic data, such as your phone model.
• Social Features: Xder offers features that let you interact with third-party services and websites (“Social Features”). For example, you can link your Instagram or Facebook to your Xder profile. If you use these, both Xder and the third-party may access some of your personal information. This is also subject to third-party privacy policies, even if they continue sharing some information with us.
• Mailing List Information: If you provide your email address and opt in to our mailing list, we may send you news, updates, and third-party offers. You can unsubscribe anytime via a link at the bottom of our emails, but you may still receive service-related emails.
• Survey and Interview Information: If you participate in surveys, you may choose to provide additional data, possibly including sensitive information. Third-party survey providers’ privacy policies will apply. Similarly, we may invite users to volunteer for interviews (including video), conducted via a third party.
• Photos, Videos, and Audio: If you enable multimedia features in Xder, we may collect audiovisual information. Uploading photos, videos, albums, or sending voice messages requires access to your camera, gallery, and/or microphone. You may also join live audio/video chats or send recorded media.
• Location and Distance Information: We may collect your precise location to determine your distance from other users and display distance data. This is public and visible to other users in feet/meters. If you choose not to share location, some features won’t work properly. Sophisticated users may still infer your location. You can revoke permission via your device settings.
• Chat Location Sharing: You may share your current location in chat messages. Shared location does not update automatically and can be stopped at any time.
• Messages on Xder: When sending messages, we collect message content and related Personal Information. Your messages are shared with recipients and Xder. Please avoid sending content you wouldn’t want others to save or share. Messages may persist in recipients’ devices even if you delete your account.

PERSONAL INFORMATION WE RECEIVE FROM YOUR DEVICE WHEN USING XDER

User Activity on Xder: We collect information such as profiles you’ve browsed, purchases, how you interact with Services, and communication with other users.

Hardware and Software Information: We collect data like device brand/model, device ID (IDFV, Android ID), carrier, connection type, browser type, OS, IP address, domain name, timestamps, device orientation, app crashes, and advertising identifiers (GAID, IDFA). These are typically collected via SDKs and APIs.

Cookies, Logs, and Tracking Technologies: We use cookies and URL data to collect visit timestamps. If you disable cookies, some features may not work properly. See our “Cookies and Other Technologies” section for details.

PERSONAL INFORMATION WE RECEIVE FROM THIRD PARTIES

Purchase Information via Third-Party Processors: Payments through Google Play, Apple, Stripe, etc. involve providing details like name, card data, billing info, address, phone, and email. Xder does not process card data directly. Processors may share limited details (name, address, last digits of card, email).

Consent Preferences: Xder manages consent, receiving your preferences for data sharing with advertisers and analytics partners.

Third-Party Platforms: If you log in via Facebook, Google, etc., those services share some info (like display name, email) with us for authentication/account setup. Third-party policies govern this data. They may also control cookies or trackers placed on your device. We strongly encourage you to review their privacy policies.

DATA RETENTION

We retain Personal Information only as long as necessary for the purposes collected, as permitted/required by law, or according to Xder’s Terms of Service and Community Guidelines. Generally, we retain user data (e.g., registration, profile info, messages, activity data) while the account is active.

If you delete your account, your Personal Data is usually removed within 28 days unless there is a reason to retain it, including:

• Documenting safety decisions (e.g., account bans).

• Supporting security, anti-fraud, and anti-spam measures.

• Meeting legal obligations (e.g., purchase history for taxes, subpoenas).

• Supporting certain processing bases, like legitimate interests (e.g., device IDs retained for up to two years for reporting/metrics).

Local and Server Storage: Xder is migrating to server-based chat storage to support cross-platform/multi-device use. However, messages may still persist locally on devices.

Data Sources: Most information comes from you, the user. Xder may also collect from:

• Open ID providers: Facebook, Google, Apple (used for account creation/authentication).

• Device data: Collected from mobile OS/browser, subject to your consent.

• Third-party apps/services: Xder partners with providers like Google, Apple, Braze, Appsflyer, ZenDesk, etc.
